The grasses are always fun to do and I'm inching my way to doing much taller foreground grasses. Thanks again Mick.
RonRon Guthriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09173474868558565132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35145936.post-2472705561031137972009-08-20T03:54:14.976-07:002009-08-20T03:54:14.976-07:00Great use of colour to show recession across the m...Great use of colour to show recession across the meadow. I don't like painting those type of paintings since the values are so strong. I guess that's why I mute these paintings down whenever I do them....just a personal thing.

Over the years I have discovered that I'm not a big fan of yellow, I don't like painting leaves, and anytime you put in a structure it takes much longer to complete the painting....little things but they are there...like that 800 lb gorilla.

Thanks Maggie for your comments. Always appreciate them.
RonRon Guthriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09173474868558565132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35145936.post-62193077718156550712009-08-19T22:25:45.683-07:002009-08-19T22:25:45.683-07:00Ron, I really like the muted colours and mood of t...Ron, I really like the muted colours and mood of this one.... and the tiny suggestions of foreground grasses.
