I paint primarily landscapes in oils. My work is influenced by the early California impressionsist painters and a host of contemporary painters. I seek to capture light and atmosphere in my work and love the challenge. I work both in the studio as well as en plein air. I am a member of The California Art Club, Oil Painters of America and am also involved with the Coast Guard Art Program.
