Hi There,
I wanted to one day add a sound file to this blog but never got around to it. The other day I saw a video presentation on another artists site and decided to look into it. After a few Google searches I had the info I needed to give it a try.
Now, this isn't exactly a video, it's a ppresentation of various art works of mine plus a cool sounding music track. The music track was made by my old school friend, Richard Ishida, recording his bass, keyboards, guitars and some percussion parts. He then sent the files to me in an email and I recorded myself here playing the drum track. I then sent all the files (music tracks) back to him and he did the final mixing...the result is the song "Simone Ramone".
Cool, I just checked to see how it works and it works pretty dang good! The images are just off a bit and a couple are not that swift on my monitor...could be the low bit rate you have to use for uploading a video...this is required by the hosting site. It only maybe less than a minute to load to see so give it a try and let me know what you think.

Great Ron! An excellent way of showing your work, I was rather impressed to see them in this way. Nice music, pleasant how the information was presented at the end, good idea to add a picture of yourself.
It took me 9 min. to download (256 uhmm what is it.. bits per minut?), but it was certainly worth the little "wait".
The music stopped at 3:55, which was a little surprise, would have preferred if it had continued (maybe softly in the background?) and the first title picture seems to be a photo which maybe could have been a painting?
Might it be an idea to remove the barn between the "N" and "T" of "central" ?
Enjoyed it very much!
Hi Bart, Thanks for checking it out and waiting. Sorry for the download time...I'm on a DSL line (something I waited my first 4 years online to get) so it's a bit faster.
I thought with all of the artwork using a photo for the title page would add a little variety but I could easily have done that on one of my works. I didn't notice anything on there goofing the letters up but will check it now that you've caught it.
The song actually ends there and I wanted to get the credits on after the song. Doing it the way you mentioned would be nice but I'd have to go figure out the program (Windows Movie Maker 1)more and edit the song. This I will do.
Bart, I wanted to see if I could actually do this so I really didn't take the time to slow down and really do the best I could but that's ok....I can fix it all. I learned a lot in doing it so the nest time should be easier.
Thanks for checking it out and letting me know your thoughts!!
Ron
I thought it was a pretty good job. You definely have a great talent with your pen and ink. I am really surprised that you can't win with the judges with those drawings that you presented. Keep up the good work.
Beamer
Thanks Beamer,
I don't know...judges are always such a guessing game. What's odd is that they've never won anything around where I live....I'd think it was me but I've had other local artists question why I had never won an award around her either....so who knows. Not a big thing.
Thanks Again,
Ron
